Not a Casting. Diver Boy is the headline sculpture in Brandon Stieg's Diver Boy series and is entirely hand forged, formed and fabricated in steel, brass, bronze and copper. Diver Boys helmet is fitted with an Edison light and the front hatch is operational. This work was made by creating a welded steel framework that was then skinned and clad with metal panels that have been hand carved and textured meticulously. The base, also steel is fabricated with steel plate and also carved in a water pattern. One of a kind.
